2014 Highlights:

• 18 campers, all of whom would like to return

• 4 wonderful evening dances (full floor every night)

• One unexpectedly wonderful Saturday AM dance, after the Friday PM was canceled due a dust storm.

• Awesome music and dance parties with Dusty Swan and MINSTREL CrAMP.

• 100% green on the moop map.

Plans for 2015:

• Nine returning volunteers: Mark Stowe, Matt Mathis, Susan Goodis, Connell Sanderson, Ali Esposito, Billy Fisher, Frank Lowry, Fish Otto, Mike Goren.

• A  30’ x 60’ shade tent for the stage and dance floor.

• Some (3?) morning dances

• At least half of evenings will be unscheduled so we all have more playa prime time.

• Make the stage and floor available to other dances (e.g. Ceilidh)

• Schedule other contra related activities: Old Time music jams, calling workshops, etc

• A new Camp Charter and formal 301(c)(3) status (so donations will be tax deductible!)

• At least 26 campers

Estimated Fees and costs:

• Burning Man tickets are $390 + Fees ($19 to $36 depending on delivery)

• Camp base price: $300 on a sliding scale.

• The base price includes approximately $75-100 for food and camping supplies (shade, etc). The balance will be for tax deductible "art" expenses including gifted talent, sound gear, etc.

• Don’t let camp fees prevent you from joining us.  Pay what you can.

• If BM tickets and transportation are a barrier, please let us know.

• We are encouraging all non-talent to contribute either extra tickets or $400 each.   (Total request $1100 each).  Even at these prices, BMCC is far cheaper than traditional vacations such as spending a week in Europe, Hawaii or on a cruise.
